East London Physiotherapy & Sports Medicine is owned and operated by Health Consultants Incorporated, a company dedicated to health and humanity. As such, through the medium of our physiotherapy and sport medicine clinics and supported by our niche specialist clinics such as the Cyclingods and Runningods, we have found a method of providing a dedicated, holistic and tailored approach to healthcare. Our clinic team boasts over 100 combined years of experience which provided a vast amount of knowledge and experience for our patients. We believe that our patient's receive the best care due to our unique and colloborative approach.

Christopher McLean

Christopher McLean

Physiotherapist

Over the past 20 years Chris has amassed over 100,000 hours of clinical experience treating the entire age spectrum from children through to the more senior ranks. He treats individuals, companies, Embassies, performers, actors, singers, dancers from both contemporary and classical companies, professional sports people including runners, footballers, martial artists, boxers, swimmers, racing drivers and tennis players. Chris has developed a unique and progressive style which has evolved organically allowing him to establish a world renowned reputation not only for himself but the clinic, companies and services he and his team offer. Chris is particularly revered for his ability to manage and treat the most complex and challenging cases. Chris and his team have now consulted in 42 countries around the world. A statistic that is continuing to grow! He has a way of breaking down the most complex scenarios into achievable components and working to optimise these variables to achieve positive outcomes. He is often the quiet achiever behind successful performances of many well known performers, athletes and dignitaries. Chris uses multiple modalities within his work including manual therapy techniques, Pilates, Strength and Conditioning Human Performance Exercises, video gait analysis, diagnostic ultrasound and acupuncture. Chris maintains that sound clinical reasoning combined with a good knowledge of anatomy and physiology help to provide the cornerstone of successful results. He has a Masters degree in Sports and Exercise Medicine from The University of Wales Medical School and UWIC where his thesis investigated the evidence behind the concept of core stability. Chris continues to push his knowledge and abilities to new levels and has been sharing this as a lecturer at Queen Mary's University in their undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Sports & Exercise Medicine. Chris is a UK Chartered Physiotherapist, a member of the Health Professional Council and the Australian Physiotherapy Association

George Stewart

George Stewart

Physiotherapist

George qualified from the University of Southampton in 2011, and having always had a focus on musculoskeletal injuries, moved straight into private practise. He had a broad range of roles, including ward and outpatient clinics in a private hospital, first team physio with Portsmouth rugby club, in addition to gym based clinics with the opportunity to work closely with orthopaedic surgeons, and professional athletes. George has always been keen sportsman, particularly rugby, cricket and tennis, although nothing competitively anymore due to injury.. This has given him a keen interest in sports injuries, and he enjoys the opportunity to return people to the activity or sport they love. George is also qualified in Pilates and is always keen to develop his skill set wherever possible to deliver the best possible care and help people get through everyday injuries, aches and pains.

Tom Walker

Tom Walker

Physiotherapist

Tom graduated from Sheffield University in 2011 with a degree in Physiotherapy. He moved from his hometown of Nottingham to London at the end of 2014 to progress in his career. Following University he started working in the private sector and gained additional experience working with elite athletes in football. Tom has furthered his development and become acupuncture trained and more recently learnt Pilates based techniques. Tom has a keen interest in fitness and regularly attends the gym to maintain his own health and wellbeing. Tom is particularly interested in football and gym related injuries and is motivated to continue to develop with functional rehabilitation using the vast amount of equipment available at Health Consultants operated clinics.

Leanne Simoncelli

Leanne Simoncelli

Physiotherapist

Leanne is a South African Physiotherapist who graduated from the University of Cape Town in 2004. Recently Leanne completed her Masters with Merit in Sports Medicine and Exercise Health from UCL. She was awarded a distinction for her research into anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) rehabilitation. Her other qualifications include Sports Massage, Dry needling, Acupuncture, Spinal Manipulations, Pilates and sports trauma management. Her approach is very personable and hands on. Leanne’s special interests include Lower Limb Rehabilitation and Adolescent sports and orthopaedic injury rehabilitation. Leanne is a keen cyclist, Mountain biker, swimmer and used to complete as a 100m sprinter.
