Matt qualified from St George's University Hospital in London and then moved straight into work in the NHS covering all the traditional core areas of physiotherapy including, neurology, respiratory, and musculoskeletal specialities. He has always had a passion for the area of musculoskeletal medicine and now works solely in this area. Throughout this time he has been committed to gaining a variety of experience to compliment his practice, working with the future stars at Charlton Athletics' Football academy, London Welsh Rugby club when they had their brief spell in the Premiership and more recently with Wimbledon Rugby club.
Matt has always been passionate about enjoying the outside whether this be cycling, open water swimming or simply going for a walk or run. As a result he is a regular participant in cycling events and triathlons. He strongly believes in developing person specific rehabilitation plans to allow the return to person specific goals, however how big or small.
Matt intends to develop his special interests within the sporting population, particularly within Triathlon and the sporting hip and groin. He would also like to complete a Masters qualification within Neuro-musculoskeletal physiotherapy to add further knowledge to his practice.
Personally, he aims to one day complete the epic challenge of cycling the famous Land’s End to John o' Groats cycle route
